Children’s ministry

Ebenezer Church is passionate about its children and is dedicated to providing a weekly children's worship service that helps guide the children to know how to open their hearts to seek and worship God genuinely from deep within, with practical training and giving them the opportunity to do this in a safe environment. With the worship is applied Bible study and teaching that is interactive and including relevant activities and seasonal projects. The children are also guided in prayer time, as a whole, as well as small groups and individually for one another. We believe that the children are not just the church of tomorrow. They are the church already today. So we show and help them to function as the church, and allow them to flourish in this.

Memory Verses

We value memory verses for children, teens, and adults alike! It is encouraged to learn the memory verse with your children. To participate in the memory verse program, youth can memorize the verse for the assigned week and come to church ready to say it to an adult during fellowship hour. Youth have memory verse cards to keep track of their verses for the quarter and can earn a $5 gift card by saying them all.

Song of the Month

We value worship together in families. For this reason, we have a song of the month that we sing every Sunday in English with parents and children together. We hope this song will become familiar to you, even if English is not your first language, and that worshiping as a family can help build your family up in Christ together.

Amharic & English Songs

The following songs are songs we want the kids to practice singing in Amharic and English at home so that they are familiar with them for 5th Sundays.
